Healing Together
Living with a long‑term or non‑healing wound can be challenging — not only physically, but emotionally too. Many people feel isolated or unsure where to turn for guidance. Healing Together, run by Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust (KCHFT), is a free online support network designed to help.
What the group offers:
- A welcoming, safe online space to connect with others who truly understand what you’re experiencing.
- Practical tips and guidance from a Tissue Viability Nurse Specialist, who leads the sessions and provides professional wound‑care advice.
- Peer support from people living with similar conditions, helping reduce the sense of isolation.
The group is suitable for anyone living with a wound, including those caring for someone with a wound. Sessions take place online via Microsoft Teams and provide an opportunity to share experiences, ask questions, and learn strategies to support healing and wellbeing.
If you feel you would benefit from extra support or want to connect with others on a similar journey, Healing Together is a friendly place to start.
